Bahrain's air defense systems intercepted a new wave of Iranian ballistic missiles.

MANAMA, March 1, 2026 (WAM) -- The Bahrain Defense Forces' air defense systems successfully detected and intercepted another wave of enemy ballistic missiles with high efficiency and full operational readiness. The Bahrain National Communications Center reported that limited debris was detected in some areas as a result of the interceptions. According to the Bahrain News Agency, specialized teams were immediately dispatched to the affected areas; these teams began working to assess the conditions, ensure public safety, and address the impacts of the incident. The Center emphasized that these attacks constitute a clear violation of the sovereignty and national security of the Kingdom of Bahrain, stating that this situation will not prevent the Kingdom from taking all necessary measures to protect its territory and ensure its security and stability.
