Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, conducted a series of telephone conversations with several officials and foreign ministers to discuss the consequences of Iran's missile attacks, which targeted the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and several countries in the region, characterized as unprovoked and terrorist in nature. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed spoke with Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan; Crown Prince of Tonga Tupoutoʻa ʻUlukalala; Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand; Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili; Trinidad and Tobago Foreign and CARICOM Minister Sean Sobers; and Guatemalan Foreign Minister Carlos Ramiro Martínez. The discussions addressed the serious implications of these developments for regional security and stability, as well as their negative effects on the global economy and energy security. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the officials strongly condemned the unprovoked and terrorist missile attacks, which constitute a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, posing a direct threat to the security and sovereignty of states. They also emphasized the right of the targeted countries to take necessary measures to protect their sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as their right to ensure the safety of their citizens, residents, and visitors in accordance with international law. During the phone calls, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed appreciation for the solidarity shown by brotherly and friendly countries towards the UAE, stating that all residents and visitors in the country are safe.
