Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has announced a package of tourism initiatives that includes Dubai Access Club, described as the world's first city-wide tourism loyalty programme.
Membership will be by invitation only and aimed at repeat visitors, who will receive exclusive experiences, services and benefits when they return to the city.
A second measure brings more government services onto Visit Dubai, the city's official tourism website, under the Shared Digital Channels Initiative. These include tourist visa applications, so visitors will be able to apply for a visit visa through the site.
The initiatives aim to make the city easier to access for visitors and to place Dubai among the world's top three destinations for business and leisure.
