BEIJING, 28th August, 2026 (WAM) -- Typhoon Saudel ​made landfall ‌in Taizhou, in China's ​eastern Zhejiang ​province, at 8.05 am (0005 ​GMT), the national ​forecaster said on Friday.Authorities have ​issued ​a red alert for ‌the typhoon, which they expect to ​lash ​Zhejiang and neighbouring Fujian ​province with ​heavy rainfall.
