ABU DHABI, March 18, 2026 (WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates is preparing a vibrant festival program featuring live entertainment shows and family-oriented activities in public spaces, shopping malls, and entertainment venues adorned with festival-specific lights and greetings to celebrate Eid Al Fitr. Shopping malls are bustling with clothing, sweets, and gifts ahead of Eid, while seasonal promotions have boosted retail traffic. The Eid holiday, which will last from March 19 to 22, presents an opportunity to visit the country's tourist attractions, major shopping centers, and hotels offering numerous special programs. In Abu Dhabi, various cultural and entertainment activities aimed at families and children will take place, including the Sheikh Zayed Festival, which has been ongoing since November and features thousands of cultural and public events with international participation. In Al Ain, the second edition of the "Ghaitah Al Ain" festival will be held at ADNEC Al Ain from March 20 to 27, offering live performances, cultural shows, and activities for all age groups. The emirate also offers a wide range of attractions, including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Al Maqta'a Museum, Heritage Village, Saadiyat Cultural District, and the entertainment facilities of Yas Island. Dubai is preparing for Eid with a series of entertainment events and experiences for families, along with retail promotions in shopping malls and special hotel packages. Among the citywide events is the "Wulfa Season," which will run until March 23, while Expo City Dubai will host Eid celebrations from March 20 to 22. In Sharjah, the "Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2026" will continue throughout Eid, combining retail offerings from local and international brands, entrepreneurs, and small businesses with cultural and heritage experiences. The emirate also offers various entertainment, nature, and cultural destinations such as Khorfakkan Amphitheater and Waterfall, Al Suhub Rest House, Al Heera Beach, Arabia's Wildlife Center, Al Jada, Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Montazah Parks, and Al Qasba. Ajman hosts many heritage attractions, including the Ajman Museum, which dates back to the 18th century and showcases artifacts, manuscripts, and traditional costumes. Umm Al Qaiwain offers entertainment options such as Dreamland Aqua Park, as well as aviation, shooting, and marine clubs, along with equestrian facilities. Ras Al Khaimah has completed preparations to welcome visitors during the holiday, offering various experiences including the Jebel Jais Flight, one of the world's longest zip lines, Al Hamra Golf Club, Dhayah Fort, and its beaches. Fujairah continues to be a popular destination for Eid holidays, with a growing selection of hotels and resorts, as well as attractions such as Fujairah Corniche, Madhab Spring Park, and Wadi Wurayah, including beachside facilities in Al Aqah.
