Fuel prices in the UAE are set to increase across all categories starting Tuesday, 1 September 2026, ending a brief period of relief for motorists as geopolitical tensions continue to weigh on regional energy supply chains.

The Fuel Price Committee announced the revised rates on Monday morning, reflecting ongoing volatility in global crude oil markets.

Super 98 will cost AED 3.80 per litre, up from AED 3.60. Special 95 rises to AED 3.69 per litre from AED 3.49, while E-Plus 91 moves to AED 3.61 per litre from AED 3.41. Diesel sees the steepest jump, climbing to AED 4.30 per litre from AED 3.80.

The September increase follows a smaller rise in August and comes after a brief dip in July that temporarily paused four consecutive months of steep increases.
