AJMAN, March 9, 2026 (WAM) -- The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has announced the completion of the Ajman Police General Directorate project, marking one of the United Arab Emirates' most significant strategic security developments. The project strengthens the nation's security infrastructure framework and enhances the operational readiness of police units to perform their duties with high efficiency. Eng. Mohammed Al Mansoori, Undersecretary for Infrastructure and Transport Affairs at the Ministry, emphasized that the completion of the project reflects the Ministry's commitment to establishing integrated government facilities that support security and stability, align with modern institutional work requirements, and enhance the performance efficiency of the United Arab Emirates. He stated that the construction and completion of the Ajman Police General Directorate is regarded as a high-impact milestone. The project was designed in a modern architectural style that meets the highest functional and security standards, thereby increasing operational efficiency by addressing the demands of advanced police operations. The project includes a fully integrated building and facility complex comprising the main headquarters building along with all departments, service buildings, electrical and pump rooms, a gate and security building, a nursery facility, weapon storage units, and a detention and crime investigation building. Additionally, it creates a comprehensive security environment, including external works, parking areas, and perimeter security fences, all designed in accordance with best engineering practices. Al Mansoori noted that the project represents an advanced model for modern security facilities characterized by the adoption of principles of functional integration, operational efficiency, and sustainability. He highlighted the Ministry's commitment to developing vital facilities in accordance with the highest international standards, contributing to enhanced security preparedness and improved service delivery. Al Mansoori stated, "The project reflects the commitment to implementing sustainability guidelines in support of the United Arab Emirates' efforts to protect the environment and natural resources. This has been achieved through the use of high-quality materials, reduction of carbon emissions, adoption of effective construction waste management practices, and rationalization of energy and water consumption." During the construction and completion of the Ajman Police General Directorate, the Ministry recorded one million safe working hours without any accidents or lost time incidents, marking a significant milestone that underscores its commitment to the highest safety standards. This achievement was attained through strict adherence to occupational health and safety procedures, rigorous implementation of preventive standards, and continuous on-site monitoring.
