American YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul will face French kickboxing world champion Cedric Doumbe in Dubai on December 24, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) announced on Monday.

The bout is a professionally sanctioned, eight-round cruiserweight contest. Tickets will go on sale on November 15.

It will be the 29-year-old Paul's Dubai debut. He beat Mike Tyson in 2024 and suffered a broken jaw in his most recent fight, against British heavyweight Anthony Joshua. Doumbe later moved from kickboxing to MMA, where he has recorded six knockout wins in seven professional fights.

Khalfan Belhoul, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, said the event is being organised with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and MVP, and that it adds to the city's growing calendar of international sport.
