In a statement released by the semi-official Fars News Agency, known for its ties to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a threat of attack was made against certain areas in the UAE and Qatar. The statement indicated that attacks could be carried out on specific regions of Dubai and Doha, allegedly where U.S. officers and personnel are located, and urged residents in these areas to leave as soon as possible. It also included the assertion, “Despite the warnings from the Iranian Armed Forces, your leaders have provided shelter to American terrorists and allowed your territories to be used for attacks against Iran.” The accompanying visuals highlighted targeted locations in the Luseyl, Al Waab, and Ain Khalid neighborhoods of Doha.
