ENOC has contributed 5 million AED to support the "Edge of Life" campaign.
DUBAI, March 10, 2026 (WAM) -- Emirates National Oil Company Group (ENOC), a leading integrated global energy provider in the United Arab Emirates, has contributed 5 million AED to the Edge of Life campaign, which aims to save five million children from hunger. The campaign was launched during Ramadan by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, with the goal of raising at least 1 billion AED to combat child hunger worldwide. The Edge of Life campaign, operating under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), welcomes contributions from individuals and institutions to save five million children from starvation. It is organized in partnership with UNICEF, Save the Children, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and the Hunger Relief Association. This global humanitarian campaign focuses specifically on children facing the threat of hunger in the world's most vulnerable communities, particularly in areas affected by natural disasters and conflict, where statistics show that every minute, five children under the age of five die from malnutrition and hunger worldwide. ENOC CEO Hussain Sultan Lootah stated, “Thanks to the collective efforts of our partners, this UAE-led humanitarian initiative brings together governments, international organizations, and the private sector towards a common goal in the fight against child hunger.” Lootah added, “Contributing to the campaign reflects ENOC's unwavering commitment to advancing humanitarian initiatives aimed at supporting communities and creating a lasting impact for the world's most vulnerable populations.” This announcement reinforces ENOC's commitment to continuously support humanitarian initiatives launched by the UAE at both local and global levels and strengthens the Group's position as a responsible institution aiming to create a lasting impact. The campaign continues to accept donations and contributions from institutions and individuals through seven main channels, including the campaign's website (www.edgeoflife.ae) and a toll-free call center (800 4999). Contributions can also be made via bank transfer in UAE Dirhams to the campaign's bank account at Emirates Islamic Bank (IBAN: AE940340003708472909222).
