Dubai has launched the free Itma'en service to support the mental health of its residents.
Dubai authorities have launched a new mental health support hotline named ‘Itma’en’, aimed at enhancing the quality of life across the emirate. This initiative, which means “Be Safe,” provides a direct and confidential channel for residents, citizens, and visitors in Dubai to receive professional guidance and psychological support.
The service is implemented in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Community Development Authority (CDA), reflecting a unified government approach that prioritizes mental health as a cornerstone of a healthy society.
The Itma’en support hotline, available free of charge to everyone, can be reached at the dedicated number 800506. The service connects callers with expert counselors who offer confidential mental health support and professional guidance.
