Dubai Airport hit by Iranian drone: Flights suspended

As tensions continue in the Middle East, explosion sounds were heard in Dubai, the largest city in the United Arab Emirates. Following the incident, flights were suspended at Dubai International Airport, the second busiest airport in the world. Iran targeted Dubai Airport with drones. Iran's drone attack led to the temporary suspension of operations around the terminals of Dubai International Airport. The Dubai Media Office stated, "Operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) have been temporarily suspended for the safety of passengers, staff, and airline crews." Witnesses reported black smoke rising from the terminal and a loud explosion. Airport operations have since been resumed. According to EuroNews, tensions in the region persist. Air raid sirens sounded in Israel, and at least three explosions were heard. Israeli attacks on eastern and southern Lebanon resulted in the deaths of at least 16 people and injuries to 35 others. Iran-backed Hezbollah forces announced that they were in conflict with Israeli soldiers. Gulf countries have also been affected by the attacks. Bahrain reported that it thwarted 86 missile and 148 drone attacks. Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are discussing ways to stop the assaults from Iran, while Saudi officials warned Iran to avoid "miscalculations." Qatar announced that its airspace has been partially opened.
