Aldar has pledged 100 million AED to the 'Mother of the Nation Foundation for Orphans'.
ABU DHABI, March 8, 2026 (WAM) -- In line with its role in advancing national social priorities, Aldar has allocated 100 million AED to the "Mother of the Nation Orphans Foundation" initiative launched by the Abu Dhabi Department of Awqaf and Minors Affairs. This initiative aims to provide sustainable, long-term support to enhance the welfare and future opportunities of orphans across the United Arab Emirates. The announcement was made in the context of the UAE Family Year, emphasizing the importance of strengthening family integrity and reinforcing values that support strong and resilient communities. Through a structured institutional framework, contributions to the foundation are transformed into investment assets, with the generated income allocated to support orphans' education, healthcare, and living needs. This approach ensures that the support remains sustainable over time. Aldar's contribution reflects the company's commitment to creating a positive and lasting impact in the communities it serves. The announcement coincides with Zayed Humanitarian Day, which honors the legacy of generosity and humanity established by the UAE's Founding Father. The contribution was announced at the Zayed National Museum with the participation of Abdul Hamid Mohammed Saeed, Chairman of Awqaf Abu Dhabi, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Aldar, Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Secretary-General of Erth Zayed Charitable Institutions, Fahad Abdul Qader Al Qassim, Director-General of Awqaf Abu Dhabi, Talal Al Dhiyebi, CEO of Aldar Group, and Fahad Mohamed Al Ameri, Executive Director of the Presidential Affairs Development and Humanitarian Affairs, and General Director of Erth Zayed Charitable Institutions Fund.
